besides oxygen and glucose. Medically relevant analytes
other than glucose and oxygen include carbon dioxide,
pH, nitric oxide, lactate, and anesthetic gases. There
are also potentially large market opportunities for
sensing these and other analytes in environmental and
industrial monitoring.

libraries of indicator compounds to detect other small
